RWS Muay Thai have confirmed all three Rajadamnern Stadium female champions will defend their titles throughout September.

Minimumweight champion Mongkutpetch Petchyindee, Flyweight champion Marie Ruumet and Bantamweight champion Laura Burgos all have title defences booked.

Mongkutpetch vs Petchsaiparn

Minimuweight champion Mongkutpetch Petchyindee will make her third defence of her title when she takes on Petchsaiparn Sitpanacherng on Saturday, September 5.

Mongkutpetch, who is on a 10-fight win streak and won 15 of her last 16 bouts, beat former champion Payahong Banchamek to win the Minimuweight crown on RWS Muay Thai in April 2025.

Since then, she’s successfully defended her title against Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin and Devina Martin. She now looks to become the first female fighter to successfully defend a Rajadamnern Stadium title three consecutive times.

Laura Burgos vs Bryony Soden

Mexican athlete Laura Burgos was scheduled to face former Bantamweight champion Barbara Aguiar back in May this year. The champion withdrew from that fight for reasons we weren’t aware of at the time and Laura Burgos went on to beat NongMay to win the inaugural Rajadamnern Stadium Women’s Bantamweight World championship.

A few weeks later, Barbara Aguiar announced her pregnancy and vacated her title. Following the news, Laura Burgos was elevated to undisputed Rajadamnern Stadium Women’s Bantamweight World champion.

She’ll now make her first defence against Australia’s Bryony Soden on September 19, who is fresh off a huge win over former champion Somratsamee ManopGym at MTL presents YOKKAO 51 in Australia a few weeks ago.

Somratsamee once went 16 fights unbeaten at Rajadamnern Stadium, so to say Bryony Soden has earned her right to challenge for the title would be an understatement.

Marie Ruumet vs Desiree Wodicker

Perhaps one of the most impressive female fighters at Rajadamnern Stadium of late has been Marie Ruumet. not only did she beat Zaidania Looksaikongdin to win the inaugural Rajadamnern Stadium Women’s Flyweight World championship earlier this year, but she’s since defended it successfully twice.

Like Mongkutpetch, the “Snow Leopard” Marie Ruumet she will also be making her third title defence when she takes on Desiree Wodwicker on September 26.

The “Muay Thai Princess” Desiree Wodicker has been impressive in her RWS Muay Thai journey so far, picking up two straight wins against Ananta Looksuan and Alessia Bertellotti. After beating the #2 and #4 ranked Flyweight’s, she’s earned her right to become the next challenger of Ruumet’s Rajadamnern Stadium World championship.

Dates for the three Rajadamnern Stadium Women’s World championship title defences:

  • Mongkutpetch vs Petchsaiparn — Saturday, September 5
  • Laura Burgos vs Bryony Soden — Saturday, September 19
  • Marie Ruumet vs Desiree Wodicker — Saturday, September 26
