Yothin FA Group edged a razor-close split decision win over Fairang Chor Hapayak in the main event of RWS Muay Thai this past Saturday, August 22.
In his post-fight interview, the 34-year-old veteran told commentator Arran Sirisompan that hewants to rematch Chiabkard next. Not only that, but he also said it’ll be the final fight of his career.
A Hard-Fought Victory
Yothin’s win over Fairang was far from comfortable. The 17-year-old challenger pushed the former champion to his absolute limit across the three rounds, making a compelling case of his own on the judges’ scorecards.
Fairang was on an eight-fight winning streak and ranked number two in the Super-Featherweight division at Rajadamnern Stadium.
Yothin’s experience proved the difference in the end. His trademark knee pressure and composure in the later rounds were enough to sway two of the three judges’ votes.

The Announcement
What followed the final bell was arguably more significant than the fight itself.
Speaking in his post-fight interview, Yothin was direct. He wants the rematch with Chiabkard. The opponent he lost his Rajadamnern Stadium Featherweight World championship to earlier this year.
But what was more surprising was he said it’ll be the final fight of his career.
A career that has spanned nearly three decades deserves a fitting finale. Yothin has decided what that looks like.
A rematch between Yothin and Chiabkard has not yet been officially confirmed, but Fight Record will bring you further updates on this story as soon as we know more.
