Freddie Haggerty returned to the winner’s column with a strong performance earlier this year, and the Englishman is looking to better that display in his return at The Inner Circle 30 this Friday, September 11.

The 21-year-old picked up a unanimous decision win over French-Thai fighter Yonis Anane at The Inner Circle 15 this past May – a result that saw him return to the winner’s column after his lone promotional setback at ONE 170.
Beyond pushing him back into the winner’s column, the victory gave the young Haggerty some much-needed boost heading into fight camp for Rungruanglek, who rides a perfect 5-0 promotional slate. The Londoner shared:
“That win, of course, has given me the confidence leading up to this fight. It’s been a quick turnaround. It’s been about 3 months, I think. So literally had a little bit of a break, recovered from that fight, and got straight back into camp for this one to look for another win.”
Per the Englishman, all has been smooth sailing leading up to his sixth promotional appearance.
The technical adjustments have been done. The plan has been sorted out. Now, all that’s left is for the youngster to execute his plan to perfection against the in-form Thai.
Rungruanglek brings a 65-20 record into this fight. From five promotional outings, the 20-year-old has scored a trio of highlight-reel finishes against Terdkiat Sit Jaykarn, Kraithong PU Phabai, Imam Gadzhiev – all in 2026.
The Thai slugger thrives on aggression, and he never takes a step back when he sees the opportunity to land a match-winning shot. Haggerty, of course, has done his homework, and he believes he has just the right strategy to foil the Thai’s knockout power when they collide at The Inner Circle 30. He pointed out:
“As soon as that bell goes, I’m going to be hitting and moving. I ain’t gonna be standing there to get hit. It’s not how we’ve been training for this fight, and it’s not how we’re gonna be training moving forward either. That said, my eyes are on the knockout.”

Though he has his radar locked on a highlight-reel finish, Freddie Haggerty is eager to showcase more layers to his game on fight night before that moment comes.
He burst onto the ONE Championship scene with a trio of finishes, where his onslaught and pressure immediately forced the opposition to take a backward step. This time around, however, he wants the road to a knockout to look far more different.
Haggerty doesn’t just want to go guns blazing; neither does he plan to have a go at Rungruanglek like a bull in a china shop. He added:
“As I said, if I need to box, I can box. I train a lot of boxing back at home, probably three times a week. So yeah, my game’s developed in them little gloves. And even with the last fight, I’ve shown that I’m not punch-hungry either. Like, if I need to do technical things, I can have a technical battle with you; I can outsmart you, I can stick to a game plan.
“I don’t have to go in there just with attack, attack, attack on my mind. Meanwhile, Rungruanglek, he’s only got one style – punching, swinging. So, my ability to mix it up will be crucial here.”
