UK Featherweight #1 Jacob Smith was due to make his ONE Championship debut back in March of this year.
After signing with the World’s largest Martial Arts organisation, Jacob was ready to make his debut against Thai phenom Superlek Kiatmoo9; arguably one of the biggest fights in the ONE Flyweight division.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic struck and halted any international sporting plans.
During a period of no sporting activity, Jacob decided to take his training to the next level. With no opportunity of pad work or sparring, he focused on cardiovascular and S&C.
Posting daily workouts on his Instagram to stay motivated, Jacob was staying ready for whenever the call from ONE Championship came.
Recently, he posted on his social media to say a fight announcement was imminent.
