Tomorrow, the team of eighteen British fighters will fly to Vilnius in Lithuania for the annual Baltic Muaythai Open which is scheduled to take place from 1st – 3rd February.
The team, which includes 2017 Youth World Championship Gold-medalist, Joe Ryan of 2 Brothers Gym, will be one of the biggest teams at the Baltic Open this weekend.
Most competitors are from the youth team, and many will be making their last appearance in the youth division before moving on to the Elite.
Young Scotsman, Corey McLachlan, will be looking to go one step further than last year. Finishing the Youth World Championships with wins over Kazakhstan and Thailand, Corey proved he has the heart to go all the way to the final as he approaches the transition to his senior career.
Other British prospects such as Ryan Stockley, David Sinclair, Leigh Newton and many more, plus a huge youth team, will fly the flag for Team GB at the analytic Open this weekend which includes youth and senior teams from Russia, Belarus, Sweden, Finland, Poland and many more.
