K-1 Kickboxing legend KANA made her eagerly anticipated ONE Championship debut this past December. Her debut was no easy feat, though.
She faced one of the best female kickboxers on the planet in Anissa Meksen, who was coming off a loss to Jackie Buntan earlier in the year.
Dropping back down to her preferred weight of Atomweight, Anissa Meksen got the nod of the judges to spoil KANA’s debut party.
However, the Japanese kickboxer will be straight back in action as she kicks off her 2025 campaign on January 31.
She’ll face Sweden’s Moa Carlsson in an Atomweight Kickboxing contest at ONE Friday Fights 95.
The Swede, who trains at Venum Training Camp in Pattaya, looked impressive during her 2024 campaign at ONE Friday Fights. She notched up a record of 2-1, defeating ‘Road to ONE’ Thailand winner Celest Hansen before falling short against Nongfahsai in December.
