Jonathan Haggerty is an English Muay Thai fighter training at The Knowlesy Academy in London. He is the UK Featherweight #1, a WBC International champion, and a former ONE Championship Flyweight Muay Thai World champion.

In his early career, Haggerty’s flamboyant, technical ability caught the eye of many Muay Thai fans. After 12 fights unbeaten, he would take his first professional loss against Ja Kiatphontip at YOKKAO 28 on 15th October 2017.

On 10th March 2018, Jonathan Haggerty bounced back with a huge knockout victory over former UK #1 and three-time WBC Muaythai champion Keith McLachlan at YOKKAO 29. The win would catapult Jonathan Haggerty to #1 in the UK at 59kg and pave the way to international opportunities.

Haggerty would go on to defeat Spanish Muay Thai fighter Isaac Araya for the WBC Muaythai European title at Roar Combat League, before a loss to Superlek Kiatmoo9 at YOKKAO 31 on 13th October 2018.

ONE Championship

In January 2019, Jonathan Haggerty made his ONE Championship debut. He defeated Italian Joseph Lasiri via unanimous decision. His performance won over many new fans around the World.

On the 4th May 2019, Haggerty would then get an opportunity to fight Muay Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao for his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World title. Haggerty put on the performance of a life time and took the five round decision win to earn the World championship. Immediately after the fight, Haggerty called out Rodtang Jitmuangnon for his first title defence.

On 2nd August 2019, Haggerty would lose his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World title in his first defence against Rodtang Jitmuangnon via decision. A rematch was made in January 2020, this time Rodtang seemed much stronger and won the fight via third-round TKO after three knockdowns in the round.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, Haggerty would return to the ring when he faced Japanese fighter Taiki Naito at ONE: Big Bang II. He dominated the fight and took a unanimous points victory.

On 20th November 2021, Jonathan Haggerty returned for his first fight outside of ONE Championship, when he faced Arthur Meyer at Siam Warriors SuperFights in Dublin, Ireland. He defeated Meyer via second round knockout to win the ISKA Muay Thai World title for the second time.
