Current UK 58.9kg #1, Jonathan Haggerty, will make his ONE Championship debut against Joseph Lasiri on the Eternal Glory fight card in Jakarta on 19th January.
Haggerty, who was amongst many elite names signed to the new ONE Championship Super Series Muay Thai division, will take on Lasiri who is 0-3 in ONE in a Muay Thai Super Series bout at the 7,000+ seater Istora Senayan in the Indonesian capital.
With three fights and three defeats in ONE, Lasiri might seem like an easy target, but he is far from it. His first two bouts in ONE were the very first Super Series Muay Thai bout with a KO defeat against Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and a defeat to Singtonnoi, so there is no shame in his 0-3 ONE record.
