Fresh off a big win over Petsamrit at Muay Thai Super Series in Australia last week, MASDA Gym’s ‘wonderkid’ Owen Gillis will be back in action in just over a months time.
He’ll be making his fourth appearance at RWS Muay Thai on November 30 and will be looking to prove why he belongs on the global stage at Rajadamnern Stadium.
The young Merseyside man has notched up a 2-1 record in RWS. He’s also collected a WMO International title in a huge win over Daren Rolland on his home show in Liverpool.
What makes this bout even more interesting is Alex Forman’s MASDA team will have two fighters competing on the two biggest global promotions that weekend.
Owen’s team-mate Alfie Ponting will be back out on ONE Friday Fights on November 29, with the Gillis in action the following day on RWS Muay Thai — a clear sign of the quality of fighters being produced at the Merseyside gym.
