A ONE Championship double-event saw a few moves at the top of our ONE Power Rankings this weekend.
Johan Ghazali enters ONE Power Rankings Top 20
At ONE Friday Fights 36, Johan Ghazali earned a big second-round stoppage win over Temirlan Bekmurzaev. The win put him 4-0 in ONE in 2023 and earned another 3 power points.
He now enters our ONE Power Rankings Top 20 overall. He sits on 10 points, level with Seksan or Kwanmuang.
On Saturday morning, the second ONE Championship event in less than 12 hours went down at Lumpinee Stadium.
Jonathan Di Bella defends Kickboxing title
In the co-main event, Jonathan Di Bella put his Strawweight Kickboxing title on the line. He successfully defended the crown against Australian Danial Williams. It was his first outing in 2023 and earned him his first 4 power powers for the year.
Tawanchai edges out Jo Nattawut
Elsewhere, Tawanchai scored a unanimous decision win over Smokin’ Jo Nattawut. Despite picking up 2 power points, he drops to third in our ONE Power Rankings due to other results.
Phetjeeja stops Celest Hansen
The ‘Queen’ Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom scored a big stoppage win over Celest Hansen. Though the Australian showed incredible durability, Phetjeeja scored a third-round doctors stoppage due to a cut.
She earned herself a further 4 power points and jumps past Tawanchai into 2nd place in our overall top 20.
